1. Equifax in the hot seat: Equifax (EFX) will be on Capitol Hill on Tuesday for the first of three consecutive days of hearings over its massive security breach.

It promised to be a public flogging: The credit reporting firm revealed Monday that an additional 2.5 million Americans may have been affected by the hack, bringing the total number to 145.5 million.
