Trust Science names new chief data and analytics officer

PALO ALTO, Calif. – 

The migration of experienced executives moving from one of the three traditional credit bureaus to Trust Science continued this week.

The provider of artificial intelligence-powered credit scoring announced that Jeremy Mitchell has joined Trust Science as chief data and analytics officer. Mitchell was formerly vice president of analytic solutions consulting at Equifax where he supported more than $340 million in annual revenue and previously has product development responsibilities for product portfolios in excess of $100 million.

Mayor appoints new deputy chief operations officer, director of emergency preparedness

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced the appointment of two key operational executives. Jestin Johnson has been named the City’s deputy chief operating officer and Felipe Den Brok has been named the director of the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Preparedness.

Freedom Finance appoints chief customer officer from Equifax

Freedom Finance has appointed Jake Ranson as chief customer officer with the aim of driving the firm’s digital transformation.

 

Ranson joins from Equifax where he held the position of chief marketing officer for Europe.

Freedom Finance said he will be responsible for furthering customer strategy.

It added that he brings “significant expertise from the UK’s consumer finance market, particularly in creating digital products that make financial decisions engaging and straightforward”.

At Equifax, Ranson worked on the implementation of the first live Open Banking journey with HSBC – a service that Freedom Finance integrated within its online applications in February.

Ex-Equifax Chief Info Officer Pleads Guilty to Fraud in Insider Trading Case

A former Equifax executive pleaded guilty Thursday to securities fraud after federal prosecutors said he engaged in insider trading of company stock ahead of Equifax’s public announcement of a massive 2017 data breach.

Jun Ying, formerly chief information officer of Equifax U.S. Information Solutions, was terminated from Equifax a month after the company announced the data breach. Roughly 145 million consumers’ personal and financial information was exposed to hackers, the credit reporting firm has admitted.
